Zero Tolerance Policy - A heartfelt plea to all of our patients.

Unfortunately, we are seeing an increase in unacceptable behaviour from our patients which will ultimately result in driving staff away from the practice and will only make the services we provide harder to deliver.

All of our staff are doing their very best in difficult circumstances and have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic.

To the majority of our patients who continue to be understanding and supportive, we thank you for your kindness and appreciate your tolerance. Demand for appointments has become significantly greater than capacity, and whichever way we manage our appointments, there is simply not enough to be able to see everyone when they want it.

We appreciate your frustrations at not being able to get through on the phone and having to wait longer for an appointment, or not being able to be seen on the day that you want. We are all on the same side and all want to ensure high quality care is delivered to our patients when needed.

"Everyone has the right to be safe at work, and we want to reiterate in the strongest possible terms that violence and aggression towards our staff will not tolerated. Staff facing abuse will always have the surgery's full support".

Thank you for your support and understanding.

August Bank holiday 2022 - We will be closed on Monday 29th August and re-open on Tuesday 30th August. Further details can be found under Opening Times - Bank Holidays 2022.

COVID 19 Vaccine Info

Dear Patient

We are pleased to announce that, working in collaboration with practices in our PCN, (COVID immunisations page) we will soon be offering the upcoming COVID vaccine boosters, starting in September 2022. Please check this page for further updates; please do not call the surgery as they will direct you back to this page.

The vaccine will be administered on-site at Keats Grove Surgery.

We will be working collaboratively with our Wolverhampton North Network (WNN) staff and clinicians to provide the COVID vaccine for eligible patients from all WNN Practices.

These are:

 ·         Ashfields Surgery

 ·         Cannock Road Surgery

 ·         Keats Grove Surgery

 ·         MGS Medical Practice

 ·         Prestbury Medical Practice

 ·         Showell Park Health Centre

 ·         Woden Road Surgery

The WNN page has been set up for patients from all WNN Practices as a single source of information regarding the COVID Vaccination Programme being delivered at Keats Grove Surgery by WNN.

Please check the network page for further information on the clinics and how to book. We are contacting patients according to cohort group by either text message, letter or calling those patients who do not have a mobile phone. Appointments are made through the call centre number, which is included on the text or letter that you will receive.

We will contact you for your 1st and 2nd doses.

In the meantime we request that you ensure your own practice has your up to date contact details especially mobile number / landline as we will be contacting patient groups to book via text messages / pre-recorded spoken messages.

Please keep checking the WNN page for further updates and information.

Thank you
on behalf of Prestbury Medical Practice
